5 Strategies for Craps Games

A “toss of the dice” is usually a phrase used when someone is describing chance or fate, and that is how a game of casino Craps is viewed too. The players standing around the Craps table are really just enjoying a game of pure chance, and there aren’t a lot of strategies that the thrower of the dice can use. Where strategy comes into the equation is in the way that the player makes their wagers. The next thing to consider is the likelihood of the winning numbers appearing for the “come out” roll that determines the “point number”. The winning numbers are seven and eleven. This means that:

For example, the seven can be rolled in six different ways and the eleven in two different ways. This means that a smart player will always use their initial pass line bets in the most profitable ways possible based on the probability data.

Finally, the last three strategies for a game of Craps will have to do with the different kinds of wagers made. For example:

3. The Come Bet – This is the bet you make when the shooter wants to hit their point number, and if you win you will be able to place an Odds Bet too. This is a way to get two bets on the table, and this is often significantly profitable.

4. The Odds Bet – This is the wager you can make after the player establishes the Point Number, and is a way to get up to six times the initial wager.

5. The Passline Bet – This is the mandatory wager for all Craps players, and it is important to place this bet according to your knowledge of the probability tables.
